Kaifeng City Cdma Mobile Communication Network Planning And Design

IS-95CDMA network is under construction in China Unicom. China Telecom and China Netcom are also planning to construct mobile network, which is either WCDMA network or TD-SCDMA network,but it is definite to be CDMA network.Through discussing the CDMA network construction schemes for Kaifeng Telecom, this thesis proposes designing demands and calculation for network construction. Through the reserch in this thesis, I bring up the schemes and suggestions to each aspect of IS-95 CDMA network construction. We must consider the advantage of the CDMA network, and also fully utilize the available resources in the light of the present situation of Kaifeng Telecom; Not only consider the forward prospects of network , but also consider to control cost and the scale of the net initial stage. Therefore, this thesis's design considers Kaifeng network construction from the angle of the whole province. It proposes that the net-management platform and short-messages platform should be constructed together in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province.The thesis also makes the suggestion that Kaifeng City and Shangqiu City share the capacity of Kaifeng CDMA exchange MSC . This can increase the equipment utilization, reduce the initial investment cost, attain the large-scale economy,and then increase the running performance of enterprise. After the customer capacity attains the certain scale, then we consider decentralizing the exchange. Through the research in this thesis, in the light of the Kaifeng geographical characteristics and the distribution of traffic, I bring up the scheme of basestation construction, calculating the link budget and designing the cut-over, etc. I think this thesis has achieved the desired purpose, and this engineering design is advanced, mature, also economically viable, and can guide the engineering network construction.
