| With the development of the computer network technology.network education has extremely changed the conception of traditional educati -on as a new plateform and media. It brings education and teaching with vital force. To establish an integrative, unified, high effective, stable, safe and reliable network teaching system is the guarantee of the rapid development of the network education.There are two parts in the SMUCCES network teaching system, one is the Network Teaching Management System, and the other is the Net -work Teaching Supporting System. The system is a 3-ties B/S system based on COM+ module, using ASP, COM+ module technology and SQL Server 2000 to access data-base, upload and download of the multime -dia files. The network teaching system, based on COM+ module, can run efficiently, and it is convenient for maintenance and management.This paper describes the design and the implementation of the sys -tern. It is divided into 5 chapters. The first chapter simply introduces conception and features of the network education, state of the art, the main problems and the development countermeasures.The second part describes the system architecture of SMUCCES and related technical background, including C/S architecture, B/S architecture , object -oriented methodlogy .software reusability, COM+ module technology, ASP and XML technology. The third chapter expatiates the design of the functions of the SMUCCES , including user requirement analysis and system design. The fourth chapter introduces the database design, the COM+ module design and the implematation of the system.
