| In recent years,there have been great interest in transmiting date in high rate on Low-Voltage Power line.But the transmission characteristic of power line is very hostile. Many kinds of loads connected to the power line may act as noise sources, thus a high level and fluctuating impedance and transmission loss in the power line can be considerable problems. So there have been many problem to be resolved. OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) technologyis a hot technology appling in power line communication.OFDM based digital communication systems are robust in multipath channel. In addition, OFDM can achieve high bandwidth efficiency and be implemented with FFT. The purpose of this paper is studing the hardware implementation method of OFDM using Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA).There is important theoretical and practical significance in developing Intellectual Property(IP) on our own basis of real time OFDM signal processing. First,this paper generally introduces the development of Programmable Logic Device(PLD) and the characteristic of FPGA. Second, this paper expounds thie principle of the OFDM and the scheme of the power line communication system. Third, this paper emphasizes on how to design and implement the OFDM coding and modulation with FPGA.Being started with analyzing and design the system parameter,the whole scheme was design with united clock by way of making the valid date so that the stability of design is improved.ALL the circuit module are implemented with FPGA including FFT/IFFT,16QAM modulation and demodulation ,synchronization.At the same time corresponding test step tools and results are given. Finally,the performance simulation is made on OFDM.At the same time ,we give the analyze of system performance. |
