Based on the theory of the embedded system, the paper introduces designing the PCI bus interface board embedded with a high performance 32-bit microprocessor, which implements multi channel ARINC429 aero bus communications.Firstly, the paper introduces the total design of the communications board and the structure of its softwear and hardwear, after deeply analyses the function demand of the board and the structure of the embedded system.Secondly, the paper introduces the type of the board's chip, the key technique and the embedded systems developing environment and tools, which are used to develop the board.Thirdly, based on analyses the hardwear design of the board, the paper introduces function and controlling of main chips of the board, presents the details of circuit in the board. These chips include the embedded microprocessor, ARINC429 protocol chips and memory chips. At last, the paper analyses the softwear hiberarchy of the embedded system, the system booting procedure of the board and the controlling procedure of protocol data transceiving. The paper presents structure of the system boot loader and the data transceiving controller program. The paper applys an embedded microprocessor in the communitcations board system. It improves intelligent of the communications board, simplifies the difficulty of controlling the ARINC429 protocol chip for the processor of the communications system, relieves the burden of the processor. Presents a high efficiency and reliable communications platform to the avionics syetem. The communication board accomplishes good effects in the real application, and gets the expected goal.
