The locating and depth measuring technology of the directional track system of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is developed based on imbursement of "863 plan" sustentation fund. The main contents are covered with as follows:1. The maps of the magnetic static and quasi-static fields far from the solenoid are probed into and the mathematical models of the solenoid antenna are also provided, and the receiving model of the solenoid antenna is discussed. The magnetic fields model is proved to be true through the experiments.2. The characteristics of the ferrite soft magnetic materials are put into, as well with the effect on the maps of the magnetic fields of the solenoid antenna with the magnetic core, and then the design of the solenoid antenna is discussed.3. Based on the models of transmitting and receiving of the solenoid antenna, the locating methods, by use of a single solenoid, double solenoids and multi solenoids, are provided. From strict calculation and many simulations, the features of those are analyzed systematically.4. Based on that the signal strength, received by the solenoid antenna is proportional to the distance between the transmitter and the receiver, the depth measuring model and methods are purposed. The relative experiment is carried out lastly, from which the methods are proved to be available.5. The hardware of the locating and depth measuring system is designed.Many experiments and simulations upon locating and depth measuring are provided. It is proved that the locating and depth measuring problem of the directional track system of HDD is raveled out preferably, and is signified in supplying the gap in the locating and depth measuring instrument in the country. |
