| The Video Surveillance System has been developed into the third generation, which is characterized by digital network. While having more and more application in different fields, the Video Surveillance System is also facing new challenges and opportunity. According to the survey, we found that at most times there would be several multimedia systems applied in one company, such as video surveillance system, net meeting, VoIP etc. With the further development of network, it comes to be a trend that all different multimedia systems combine or integrate together. That requests higher compatibility of the Video Surveillance System.. This paper presents a new design of Video Surveillance System based on Web Services and SIP protocol, which would be highly compatible and convenient to integrate with other multi-media systems.In Chapter 1 We survey the Video Surveillance System, mainly introduce the development history and the main application of Video Surveillance System. Chapter 1 ends with the development trend introduction.In Chapter 2 we introduce different frameworks of the system, especially the Web Services framework. We would analyze and compare the different frameworks, make out the design of system framework based on Web Services.In Chapter 3 we introduce the signal protocols H.323 and SIP. We would analyze their characters and application fields, make out the design of signal control system based on SIP protocol.In Chapter 4 we give a design of the whole Video Surveillance System.The paper ends with the expectation for the trend and application of the Video Surveillance System which is based on Web Services and SIP protocol. |
