Based On Mobile Phones, Digital City Applications

Based on the up-to-data technology of mobile Communications, a new platform using the following technologies for the digital city is studied in this article: CDMA, BREW, GpsOne, TCP/IP and database. This new platform is mobile phone. After the introducing of domain technology of digital city on PC platform and mobile phone platform, the new application depending on GIS and GPS ,the main part of the application of digital city, is discussed beginning at the research on the increment services of mobile phone. In the paper, the scheme to study and design the system is discussed.The system is realized by the analysis of the structure of the whole system, the client, the server and the security of the system. The system is divided into two modules to be studied: the GIS module and the GPS module. Based on the theory of the software engineering, the feasibility of the system, the demand of the system, the design of the system and the implementation of the system are discussed in detail step by step.The system is carried out by using the technology referred from above. A new platform used for the digital city is provided in this article and the application of digital city on the mobile phone is becoming widely in future.
