The development, production and employment of complex equipment have a strong relationship to national industrial development, which is also a protection of state economy. The after service of complex equipment is an influence of its daily application. So the quality and reaction capacity of after service is important factor which countries all over the world pay attention to and the most important thing of fast effective after service is to provide spare parts on time by optimal control. This paper study the pivotal control model and build a spare parts management system to satisfy the requirement and reduce the storage cost.In the paper, we first analyze the status of spare parts management in after service department of complex equipment manufactory. The main function of spare parts management system is concluded based on spare parts management operation and the demand of user. The main function model of spare parts management system is build by consulting the main function and existing system. It is described by function tree and IDEF0 chart.The information model of spare parts management system is build by analyzing the flow of spare parts management and the information socket of other system in cooperative after service system. The database of system is established based on information model, which take upgrade and expand into account.The annual requirement forecast model on the basis of historical failure record is build to provide evidence for inventory control. On the background of ABC analysis, introducing ideas of classified control in servicing inventory for complex equipment system, we establish an optimized model of inventory control. By classifying inventory and fixing on the time and quantity to indent goods of different type, this model incarnates the thought of breaking up management and cooperating control on different inventory.We use .NET as the development platform and ORACLE as the database management system to build up spare parts Management System on the basis of network frame. This system has been used in an academy and a manufactory, which guarantees the supply of spare part very well and reduces the gross inventory a lot.
