| The acceleration of the market globalization and China's entrance to the WTO have exerted direct impact of the international market on Chinese society. As far as media is concerned, China will open its media business step by step and allow international media titans to participate in competition according to the related agreements, which inevitably will cause great impact on Chinese traditional media business.Since the opening up and reform of China, the part organ has mad e great progress on the course of "the free economic management with state ownership", but with the greenhouse of Chinese economy, the part organ will meet great challenge proposed by the intervention of international media. Under this new circumstance, the part organ must popularize its brand according to the economic development and its own situation so as to meet the challenge and reach prosperity. Based on the concept of brand popularization, this dissertation includes the following contents:With the globalization of the international market and China's entrance to the WTO, the environment for Chinese media has been greatly changed. PEST method is used to analyze the Chinese media situation and the macro-situation for the part organ. Although there is a vast potential market for Chinese newspapering, the part organ did not do a good work , which can be illustrated by the decreasing sale and downsizing market.
