| In this dissertation, a new type ECL ternary circuit with symmetric inputs and outputs was presented based on the analysis of characteristics of ECL circuits, and we designed ternary combined circuits, sequential circuits and some quadruple circuits, also we gave the Pspice simulations.In the section about character, this dissertation introduced the theory of switch-signal of ECL. Based on it we presented the theory of symmetric inputs and outputs switch-signal of ECL.In the section about structure, this dissertation introduced the developments and improvements of ECL circuits: complementary-coupling ECL, differential ECL and direct-comparativist ECL circuits. Next, a new type ECL ternary circuit with symmetric inputs and outputs was presented based on the analysis of characteristic of ECL circuits;this new type circuit can decrease the quantities of reference sources and we also used multicollector to perfect it.we designed ternary combined circuits , sequential circuits and some quadruple circuits based on the structure of symmetric inputs and outputs.In the section about ternary combined circuits, we designed ECL ternary literal circuit, MAX and MIN circuits , modulo-algebra circuits, comparison logic circuits and so on in order to explain the advantage of it. We carried out the Pspice simulations using 0.5 μ m bipolar parameters to analysis logic functions. The results of Pspice simulation showed that the logic functions of them were right, and this new type circuits is simpler than traditional circuits, source voltage and power are lower also.In the section about sequential circuits, we designed ECL ternary D flip-latch and D trigger with symmetric inputs and outputs. We also used them to design some typical sequential circuits like ternary shifting register, counters and controller.In the last section, we designed some quadruple circuits and gave the conclusion as well as the expectation. |
