Embedded H.323 Multipoint Controller Design And Implementation

As the development of wire and wireless wideband network, the bandwidth of videoconference is no more a problem, which greatly encourages the convenient and rapid videoconference' s development. Among videoconferences of military, government, commerce, and so on, the security of videoconference becomes more and more important. It is emergent to decrease the cost of videoconference in some mid or little-scale applications.In this paper, the scheme of H. 323 MCU on embed hardware plane is described, and some original methods are also included, which are the base of design of H. 323 MCU in future. This paper also gives some advices on decreasing hardware cost.From this scheme , some functions of MCU such as conference management, audio management, QOS are discussed, and some practicable mechanism and methods are found out. In conclude, this scheme is costless and valuable.
