With the blooming of embedded technology, the growth of embedded application, the more and more complicated embedded system, the complexity and dimensions of embedded software also increases stably. It has become a hot topic in R&D of embedded software that how to design embedded software efficiently, reducing the cost of R&D, upgrading and maintenance, in order to make the embedded software more flexible, transportable and reusable.Real-time CORBA which is based on embedded operation system, can fulfil the requirement of flexible, transportable and reusable of embedded applications. Therefore, the software which is based on real-time CORBA, has the superiority for its independent platform, language and network. Besides, it is very important that real-time CORBA with highly real-time capability, can satisfy mostly requirement for embedded application. After analyzing the actuality of domestic and abroad real-time CORBA, based on DeltaOS, I design and implement a prototype, which complies with the criteria of both real-time CORBA and Minimum CORBA. It could reduce the complexity and consumption of operation system's resources. Further, through modularization designing, it is easy to transport and expansion. Application software is independent of operation system's priority by using CORBA priority. Multi-tasks'synchronous transaction and high priority task's preference transaction are realized through threadpool mechanism. Therefore, through IIOP which is based on GIOP, application software can easily communicate with each other on heterogeneity network.
