Transmit/receive (T/R) modules is the base of the modern Radar. The paper puts forth a design scheme according to the target including T/R switch, up conversion, power amplified, low noise receive and down conversion. The dimension is restricted to 106×89mm Through scheme comparison and the existing experiment condition, the final products arrive at the target we expect with millimeter hybrid integrated circuit. E-plane fin-line filter and E-plane microwave to waveguide transition is chosen to make the goal of high selection and tiny volume. Similar to the way of plug and play, power supply logic design changed with TTL signal make the source economic and high isolation possible. And the supply scheduling design protects the MMIC chips. The final measurement result shows the transmitter power reaches more than 500mW, noise figure is less than 6dB, the receive gain is higher than 25dB, the isolation is more than 40dB. The user's feedback is well-pleasing.Chapter 1 is a survey of the whole dissertation. First, dissert the characteristic of millimeter wave simply; second, sum up the development of T/R modules on domestic and abroad and give the international advanced level; last, briefly introduce the purpose and the main work of this thesis.Chapter 2 introduces the principle theory of LNA, harmonic mixer, multiplier, SPDT, VCO and the basic design flows of the ADS examples (X-band), the power combine technology ,the millimeter-wave power amplifier MMICs'trends nowadays.Chapter 3 discusses millimeter passive circuits in T/R module, of which the fin-line filter is mainly discussed.Chapter 4 is the focus the whole paper. First introduce the radar principle, then make an explanation of angle measurement in pulse radars, secondly narrate the design process of the whole module.Chapter 5 is the end of the paper, it gives some improvement advise and easily ignored points that can provide important experience for later research on it.
