Alarm System Software Development, Web-based Fire Monitoring

This paper introduces how to realize the software of the system of fire-fighting, alarm and monitoring, which is based on the Network. This research item is very meaningful for the"Digital"and"Network"controlling and management.Recently, with the wide use of Information Technology, typically the network, it is possible to supervise and control running devices, which are distributed in different districts. With the rapid growth of the database technology, it can be realized to store, analyze the monitoring data and acquire more information. So the technology of remote controlling and monitoring is developed rapidly, which has been widely used in Building Automation, Instrument Automation, Industry Automation, Family Automation, and Traffic Automation and so on. It has the strong impulse to the development of Automation Controlling technology.The paper first introduces the requirement and the main function of the fire system, the hardware and software structure of the whole system, and the function of the hardware and software. Also the paper introduces the related theory knowledge of the technology of remote monitoring and controlling and TCP/IP protocol, which are used in the system. Then it simply introduces the requirements and the main functions of the monitoring software in the fire system, also the basic knowledge of network programming technology used in the software. At last, it chiefly introduces the realization of monitoring program using Microsoft Corporation Visual Basic 6.0, and introduces the testing results of the program.Now the system of fire-fighting, alarm and monitoring has formally put into practical use and has taken the campus's fire-fighting, alarm and monitoring on its shoulder.
