| The computer based information management technology is an important symbol for technical revolution since world war two. Among all the information types, the space information is extremely important. The authoritative statistical data and memoir indicate that about 80 percent of all the information concern with human's activity concern with the geographical position and the spatial distribution. How to take use of computer in process space relate information is an important question in information society. And the geographic information system (GIS) is designed to deal with this problem and has become a hot spot in this field.This article reviewed the development history of domestic and foreign geographic information system, briefly introduced the present situation of the domestic's and foreign's urban road and bridge management information system, and introduced the urgent problem which is unsolved. By taking use of the advanced GIS based management pattern, this article proposed an information management system which can be actually put into daily management and auxiliary policy-making functions in city bridge information management system, and this system can impel the systemization, the standardization, the information and the scientific process of bridge management.This article elaborated in the geographic information system related theory, method and realization method. According to the research and development experience in participating "the city bridge information management system of Chengdu ", and combine with the domestic's and foreign's GIS research results and direction, the author give some individual opinions in how to design and realizes the GIS system.According to the requirement of software engineering technique and taken "the city bridge information management system of Chengdu" as an example, we introduced how to take use of C# language, Microsoft .NET platform, Maplnfo, MapX and MapXtreme in the reconstruction of geographic information system; introduced the backgrounds of Maplnfo Professional, MapX and MapXtreme; particularly described the entire software system's design, organization structure, the basic processing flow, the module division, the function assignment, the data construction and so on. This article emphasis on the design and realization of the GIS module and the bridge's basic information module, discuss their realization in detail, and present the whole system's testing result. |
