Hot Strip Rolling is one of the important working procedures in Steel & Iron manufacture, the Hot Strip Rolling procedure poses many unique characteristics, such as high precision control requirement, rapid responsibility, closed inter-relationship among working procedures, affected by multi-factors, relation which is complex, the movement rules which is non-linear. The traditional method, which is used to analyze stand-alone equipments and working procedures separately and discontinuously, is not adaptive,the qualitative analysis or quantitative analysis is very difficult without using powerful analysis tools.To meet the requirement of rolling technology research, device precision and device stability study, product quality management, rolling technology stability development, and their inter-relationship research, Based on comprehending HSM rolling technology features and user's requirement, this paper research and develop the problem on how to meet best monitor and analysis for HSM rolling procedure. The main research issues consist of following aspects:1. Based on non-real-time Ethernet and Windows2000, we research how to meet the real-time requirement for HSM working procedure, via using shared data buffer to resolve the conflict between high-speed data acquisition and low-speed data process, then combine HSM features, correctly set priority among processes and threads, and compositively use software and hardware technical.2. we study the major factors of affecting HSM working procedure, then create corresponding scheme of data acquisition and data storage and data analysis according to various factors.3. The problem how to design optimized network architecture is developed. The stable and high safety and maintaining easily network is built for providing reliable physical channel to analyze HSM rolling technology procedure.4.
