The paper related the embedded multi-channel data collection platform, it use the pop embedded microprocessor MCF5272 for the control centre today. It have succeed in transplanting μClinux in MCF5272, it makes use of the serial port expand to achieve the collection of multi-channel data, and makes use of the Internet and GPRS to realize the long distance communication. The platform can monitor control the equipments and collect the data in long distance and the execrable condition.The paper explains the software and hardware configuration of the embedded multi-channel data collection platform based on MCF5272. The hardware composition includes: (1) the framework of the MCF5272 center system: SDRAM Flash BDM interface circuit clock and restoration circuit and so on. (2) 100M Ethernet interface circuit and GPRS communicate module. (3) 16 serial ports expand circuit. The system software part, it puts emphasis on the μClinux operation system, how to cut down, compile, transplant and debug μClinux kernel, and how to realize μClinux system on the embedded multi-channel data collection platform, on the basis of introducing how to compile and develop Bootload. In the process of application code development, it introduces the principle of network communication and serial port communication, it realizes the embedded multi-channel data collection platform communication with the monitor of environment by serial port programmed and communication with server by network programmed.In a word, the paper has completed the design of the embedded multi-channel data collection platform's hardware configuration, the transplant of the embedded operation system and developing application code.
