Used In Network Video Surveillance System Embedded Video Capture And Gui Design

Video surveillance systems are used in a large range, for example industry production, pank ,traffic and security department. As the development of technology , Video surveillance have developed to third generation, which is called network video surveillance system. Network video surveillance system integrates Internet network transfer technology, video encode and decode technology, embedded system, multimedia transfer and control technology. Network video surveillance system is able to transfer the data of video image to surveillance center by Internet, and to receive the surveillance direction from surveillance center and adjust the parameter according to the direction received. This system is intelligent, adjustable and network distributed, which can surveil the environment at anytime and anywhere.The main research of this paper is about the design of network video surveillance system , and we focus on the video capture and GUI design . Firstly , it introduces the the history of video surveillance system: the first generation is anolog video surveillance system, the second generation is digital video surveillance, the third generation is network video surveillance system., and introduces what we have done and how we have done. Give the design of the system project and sub-module.Introduce the hardware and the software of the system. The hardware of the system is the embedded system whice has the core is PXA270.Introduce that how to set up the development environment of the system. Research the key technology related with setting up the development. For example, installation cross compiler tools, kernel configure and transfer, installation file system and installation GUI development environment. Develop the software of video capture and video display. Research the function related with the software design, the flow of the software and the final executing result of the software.
