| With the broken of the monopolized pattern, the competition among the domestic telecommunication operators is becoming more and more severity, however the simple price competition causes the loss of both sides of the competition. In the situation that the difference in such aspects as the service quality of the network,etc, reduces gradually, in order to improve the ability to competition, telecommunication enterprises are all seeking after for the methods of improving customer service quality. They urgently need to improve the ability of making scientific decisions, to strengthen the ability of making correct judgments in such aspects as market management. At present most of the mobile communication operators have been built the Business Operation Support System (BOSS), accumulated magnanimity and electronic data, but each information system specialized in specific fields. These systems are different in data formats and way of visiting, so they become numerous information detached islands. It is redundant and inconsistent that the data exist in each information detached island, can't respond to the request of data analysis unless the data have the single view.Business Analysis Support System (BASS) appeared in this situation. According to the construction of data warehouse on enterprise layer, the system can gather different customer data of on-line affairs processing system, also offer a data environment to a correct,intact and single view. At the same time the system must be able to also integrate the instrument of data analysis,front-end representation tools,offer the convenience that the policymaker can use and carry on performance analysis systematically.The author participated in the development of BASS in a province mobile communication corporation at the period of practicing. And the author made a profundity comprehension on the related theories of the system and the way to use them at the real work. Firstly, this thesis introduces the background of the research topic, the current situation and the organization of the whole content. Secondly, illustrates the related theories and technologies applied in the development of the system, such as data warehouse, OLAP, ETL. Thirdly, the thesis analyzes the collectivity framework of the BASS. On the premise of understanding the collectivity framework of BASS, fourthly makes an example of how to design and carry out the repeat network subsystem which was successfully designed and implemented using the related knowledge of data warehouse and adopting the methods of software engineering which contains requirement analysis, summary design, particular design and testing. The thesis shows the particular details of all the processes. At last, the thesis summarizes the whole content and makes an expectation on the development of the system in the future. |
