| With the swift and violent development of the socialistic market economy and the speedup of the globalization of economy, an enterprise will face some serious challenges which are inevitably when it makes a living and strives for development in the furious international market competitions. How to reduce the time of coming into the market of a product, improve the product's quality, reduce the cost and provide the high quality service is the key point which guarantees an enterprise stand on an invincible position in the competition. The digital factory, with its characters of unique visualization, advance warning of safety and the integrity of design expression, is studied by the more and more experts and applied in design practices of plants.As the GIS can form chart and analysis to the existent objects or the occurred events on the earth. Using the function of the GIS, we can organically combine the GIS and the existed digital factory to construct a unified network graphical platform, which we can based on when carrying on the three dimensional dynamic model to the enterprise production. By using the FCS (Field-bus Control System-FCS) to control the system, we can reduce the total cost of the system and enhance its reliability. The system integrates and transfers the data gathered by all kinds of existed information system of the enterprise, then integrates and conforms them on the three dimensional graphical platform, which can be presented to the users and show the users the relations between space and time in a visualization way. It makes users realizing multifarious information of the produce of an enterprise real-time and accurately, examining the progress of produce, monitoring the running situation of the product lines, and finally realizing the visual management of the entire enterprise.In this paper, the definition of the digital factory based on the GIS is elicited. The application research to GIS in digital factory is elaborated. The advantage and development trend of the digital factory based on GIS are given. The digital factory based on GIS is analyzed in the mass, such as its overall structure, the FCS control system, collocating of system software and hardware, and so on. Furthermore, the three dimensional modeling technology based on GIS to the digital factory is introduced, and the structure of information system in digital factory is analyzed and studied. Finally a realized case of digital factory based on GIS is given.The system is developed by using the language VC++ and the graphic tool OpenGL. It has a perfect access to AutoCAD and the SQL Server database. However, there will be gigantic data in GIS and most of GIS data are complicated, so it will greatly increase the difficulty of the 3D modeling. According to the feature of the GIS data, data type, data structure definition, data transformation and some other things about 3D modeling of Digital Factory are researched in this paper. Octree, as an important part in this research, has been studied emphatically. Digital Factory based on GIS can be used not only for factories rebuilding but also for improvement of factories layout. Furthermore, it can be used as a tool to show the factory image.The research and application of this system can effectively conquer all sorts of shortcoming in the tradition patterns, such as lower efficiency, higher cost, worse quality, and so on. It can effectively realize the goal of reducing the time of new product coming into the market and its cost, optimizing design, improving production efficiency and product quality, providing the high-quality service, so that the enterprise will be in an impregnable position in the ardent international market competition is guaranteed!Although the system aims at digital factory, but its usage is so broad that it can also be used to city plan, best transportation route selection, supermarket product, shelf layout plan and so on, so it has a great popularizing value to be used for many other fields. |
