Yangtze River Delta Region In The New Century, The City Party Newspaper Development Strategy Study

As the organ of local party committee, city part organ, a bridge between grass roots and government, is a camp of public opinions, playing an important role in long-term journalism publicizing career for our country. In the district of Yangtze delta (DYD), where is booming in no matter economy or civilization, how to make city part organ a success is a new subject which our socialistic journalism has to face up with. As a result, it can serve the immaterial and material civilization for district of Yangtze delta, setting an example for hinterland and promoting the development throughout the whole country.This thesis was divided into three chapters. Chapter one was the developing environment for DYD's city part organ in new millennium. In this chapter, with the theory of plutonomy, it analyzed current political, economic and cultural environment, revealing the external environment of city part organ. Chapter two was the strength and weakness of DYD's city part organ in new millennium. It used SWOT theory, namely, strength, weakness, threats and opportunities, to analyze DYD's city part organ itself. Chapter three, developing tactics for DYD's city part organ in new millennium, raised up three potential tactics for the development of DYD's city part organ. Tactics One and Three were based on theoretics and gave out theoretic projects. They analyzed the feasibility of these two projects. Tactics Two combined a comparatively new theory-Integrated Marketing Communication theory, as well as the example of "Wuxi Daily", showing a successful developing pattern of city part organ, and further more discussed the feasibility of this tactics.
