Taiyuan Area 3g Wireless Network Planning

With the startup of 3G system in China, in order to develop the net construction as soon as the release of the 3G license, obtain the advanced opportunity and gain the bigger share of the market, those big operators are putting up the programming of the net in advance. Therefore, the industry and the media focus on none but the 3G system. The UMTS based on the GSM is a new technique, whose structure progresses in the direction of the IP net' development. This new technic could be convenient for the operators to decrease the cost of roaming and service interworking and benefit the mobile consumers at last.This paper firstly introduces the development and situation of the 3G system and compares the characteristics of three generic wireless techniques; then explains UMTS's net structure, basic theory of spread spectrum and partial key technic of WCDMA system, on the base of which the programming theory and method is discussed.The paper analyses the development state of mobile market in Taiyuan region of Shanxi province, predicts the telephone model during the 3G's time; at the same time the programming idea and goal, the constructive scheme of 3G wireless net in Taiyuan are proposed by the simulation of the correlation. Moreover, some parameters are set such as wireless environment, antenna and feed line, base station and mobile platform and so on.Finally, the paper probes into the harmonious development of 2G and 3G system from the point view of making full use of current resource and protecting previous investment, analyses the available 2G resource for 3G system, and points out that the harmonious development of the two systems will be useful to the sustained and healthy progress of the enterprise.
