Ldmos Power Transistors In The High-power Radar Transmitters

With the rapid development of semiconductor technology, solid-state devices have been widely used in radar, communication, remote sensing, space navigation and so on. As key devices, solid semiconductor devices play an important role in the system of transmitter.In the thesis, a new type of device-LDMOS power transistor-is introduced. The development and application foreground of the transistor is discussed. By comparing with bipolar transistor, LDMOS power transistor has many advantages especially on high gain. According to special demands of a project, LDMOS power transistor is used in the high power radar transmitter. Design method of high power amplifier module is discussed in this thesis. The excellent character of LDMOS power transistor is proved by the experimental results. It would be widely used in many fields.
