Data acquisition system is a system works as following steps: get the analog signals fromthe sensor and convert them into digital signals, then send the digital signals to thecomputer for processing, at last export the result in the requiring format. As the developingof computer and information technique.s, the data acquisition system conbined Withadvanced electronic techniques could process vast data by software. Nowadays thedata-acquiring technology is Used in many fields such as analytical instrument, medicalinstrument, radar and communication etc.Based on the research of USB,the design of a data acquisition system based on USB andFPGA techniques is discussed in detail. The thesis has four partS: hardware design,firmware design, device driver and application program. In the part of hardware, theperformance of A/D, FPGA and USB2.0 controller FX2 CY7C68013 is introduced firstly,and then the hardware design scheme is given in detail. In the part of the firmware design,the FX2 firmware frame provided by Cypress Company is introduced firstly, and then thefirmware design for the GPIF is given in detail. In the part of device driver, WDM(Windows Driver Model) is introduced and the USB device driver for this data acquisitionsystem is given. At last, the application program based on the LabVIEW is completed. |
