Based On Gsm Data Transmission Technology And Its Applications In Modern Home Appliances Research

Nowadays GSM (Global System For Mobile Communication) has expanded to all over the world, with a total numbers of 4,600,000,000 on Dec, 2006. SMS(Short Message Service)and GPRS(General Packet Radio Service)data transmission systems based on GSM system have become more and more important in household electric applications. They are paid more and more attention, therefore, the application will be developed prosperously.Based on the discussion of various types of data transmission, this paper analyzes the constitution and structure of GSM system, and describes principles and features of GSM data transmission. Meanwhile, it examines in details the basic structure and the transmission procedure of short message, giving the detail procedure of sending and receiving on the basis of PDU mode. It focuses on the software development with VisualC++6.0, based on a wireless module-GR47 which is produced by SonyErrission. It also introduces the hardware and software designs in household electric applications. In addition, it describes the features of GPRS data transmission systems and also focuses on the software development in household electric applications.Now a series of electric products based on GSM system to realize the remote control are sold in market. It is convenient to people's lives as the household electric applications are linked with the development of internetto become more and more intelligent.
