| With the rapid development of network and telecommunication, the end users can get more and more telecommunication means. The increase of telecommunication means provides users more choices, but also brings new challenges and inconvenience to the operators and users. The different services need different terminals, and it raises the threshold for users to experience new services. Under the impulse of consumers'requirements, it is urgent to study the merge of the fixed and mobile network. The International Organizations for Standardization such as 3GPP and IETF introduce the concept of fixed and mobile convergence (FMC). The primary feature of FMC is that users can get the same service and roaming between different networks. The FMC solution given in this paper is the merge of VoIP network based on soft switch system and CDMA network. This paper focuses on how to realize the access and roaming of WiFi-CDMA dual terminal in FMC network.Firstly, this paper gives an introduction of the network design of WiFi-CDMA FMC network to implement the integration of the existing soft switch network and CDMA network, and then introduces how to improve the existing soft switch network. Secondly, this paper studies the access and authentication of WiFi-CDMA dual terminal in FMC network. In VoIP network, WiFi-CDMA dual terminal adopts SIP to realize the access of users and the transmission of authentication parameters. Thirdly, this paper studies short message of WiFi-CDMA dual terminal in FMC network, and it also makes an improvement for the future development of IMS. Finally, this paper studies the roaming of WiFi-CDMA dual terminal in FMC network based on SIP and MAP, it gives a detailed discussion on how to realize CDMA subscriber roam to VoIP network, VoIP subscriber roam to CDMA network, VoIP subscriber roam at different VoIP networks; then analyses the call processing of the roaming and non-roaming subscribers. The experiment result shows that the WiFi-CDMA FMC solution can realize the access and roaming of WiFi-CDMA dual terminal in CDMA and VoIP network. For CDMA network, the VoIP network can make up for the shortcoming of CDMA's network coverage and offer a less cost end-to-end solution. The VoIP network can also extend the network coverage through reaching the agreement of roaming with the CDMA network. |
