Under The New Media Environment "gatekeeper" Theory Of Variation And Crisis Management

On the basis of the development of digital and network technology, this article discusses the revolution of the communication model. Starting from the various kinds of new media, this article describes their brand new communicating forms and summarizes their characteristics. Then, by comparing with the classic "gatekeeper theory", this article points out some facts of the changing of that theory and puts forward a new communicating model. Meanwhile, it gives some examples of the new organizations defined by the updated media environment from the macroscopical sight of the communicating model to the microscopical sight of the organizational communicating behaviors. These examples, which are all about the crisis caused by the new communicating forms, are indicated to the study of the crisis management under the new communicating circumstances.
