Media Review Mechanism Construction And Practice

The media review institution is a NGO (non-government organization) which aims at the protection of the interest of audience and practise the Media-Criticism as its resort. It can advance the media to improve and fulfill the need of the development of social civilization.Some Chinese experts in the field of communication have already studied the necessary of media review institution in the aspect of the problem of media and the function the media review institution in the West. But the assumption is not so integrated and mature and has little persuasion because of the lack of academic support and feasibility. So in spite of the proposition of the experts, the media review institution in China is still in dark nowadays.Based on the theories of MPA, Media-Criticism and Media Self-regulation, my dissertation analyses the indispensability and rationality of media review institution lead by government. With the cases of Zhejiang Inspection Center of Broadcasting and The Press Complaints Commission of Britain, I compare the assumption with the practice, construct the model of the media review institution and further my research to study the whole system of the media review.
