| With the wide use of portable electronics, multifunction is one of characteristics for portable electronics, which encounters some challenges. Switching voltage regulator, with its distinctive features of high level of integration, simple peripheral circuit and high efficiency, has been widely used in many electronic products. Core unit-control circuit integration of the switching power supply has been one of switching power supply development for many years. A smaller volume, the less EMI, over current and over voltage protection circuit technology has been developing in this process.In this thesis, a high-performance step-up DC-DC power converter is proposed. It is a complete power converter solution used for a small thin-film transistors liquid crystal display. It may use the single-cell lithium battery, 2 to3 alkaline batteries input or operate any voltage source between the 1.5 V and 4.6 V. Chapter I is introduction, which introduce the development of power management chips and related technology developments, as well as the arrangement of the paper; Chapter II presents the system architecture as well as the charge pump, and the operating principle of synchronous boost converter;the third chapter is devoted to sub-module design and simulation results; The fourth chapter describes the circuit layout of the whole system ;Chapter V of this paper summarizes the content.The chip input operating range is 2.7V~5.5V.Synchronous step-up controller can generate a low-noise, high efficiency power of 5.1v.The internal charge pumps used to generate 10V, 15V and-5V,-10V or-15V voltage. Based on the0.6um CMOS process simulation model and using the tools of Hspice, every sub-block has been simulated to ensure that its power and temperature at different targets to achieve the design requirements. |
