The Multi-Service Transport Platform based on SDH can achieve access, treatment and transmission of service of TMD, ATM, IP simultaneously, to provide a unified management of Multi-Service Transport Platform, effectively support the service exchangement of Data, voice and image. MSTP accompanied by the development of the telecommunications network has been progress, manifested mainly in the treatment of Ethernet service. It has experienced a course of development from the first generation that support Transparent transmission of Ethernet to the second generation that support second-layer switching to a new generation (Third Generation)that support QoS of IP service.The part of Telecommunications Management Network that to manage SDH transmission network known as SDH Management Network (SMN). The T3 Transmission network management system that this thesis is based on realise the functions of element management and network management layers in the SMN Hierarchy, provide interface for the superior network management through north adapter, manage the element and the lower management through the South adapter. Transmission network management system is the development of application layer of Unified Element management Platform (UEP). Transmission network management system using plug-in development and implementation of plug-ins can dynamically loading and unloading, improve the flexibility of the system.MSTP module in T3 Transmission network management system provides the support for data services especially Ethernet, are essential modules in system. MSTP module that based on the project system requirements document has designed and implemented several functions to support the Ethernet, the functions include the management of Ethernet Service Bandwidth. The classification of RPR Service which divided the Service into three classes, class A, class B and class C, and can choose the rings for the service, adapt the service to RPR MAC layer. The management of UNI/NNI ports about Trunking. The management of VCG channel binding which is about concatenation, the function can make users choose real concatenation or virtual concatenation. The management of LCAS. The management of Ethernet board mirroring. The management of Ethernet VLAN security. The management of table of Ethernet static MAC address. Ethernet board port VLAN tag. The management of Ethernet board egress port QoS algorithm. The management of Matrix Flow Domain Fragment which is about a Ethernet service, and is abstract modeling of Ethernet service on board. And so on. The MSTP module that designed and implemented must support several commmand processes including setting, query, download, upload, and upload comparison.T3 Transmission network management system and MSTP module through the Development process, such as System design, Detailed design, Coding, Unit testing, Integration testing, System testing. Finally, T3 systems and MSTP modules made a very good stability.
