As one approach of information transfer in the modern times, it is more and more urgent for the print product to have an anti-counterfeiting technology to protect the copyright. As an effective means, digital watermarking technology is developing rapidly and has drawn many concern in recent years.This article applies digital watermarking into the printing field and introduces two types of digital watermarking algorithm based on SVD(Singular Value Decompose), which are non-meaningful and meaningful ones.This article designs two types of printed digital watermarking detection system. The first one, based on TMS320VC5509A, is non-meaningful digital watermarking detection, used for fast and common detection such as tickets. The other one, based on TMS320DM642, is meaningful digital watermarking detection, which can be used for high precision detection such as the ID card and passports. The design has been accpeted as one of the tickets technologies in Beijing Olympic game 2008 and Shanghai world expo 2010. A sample machine is also provided for China National Centre for the performing arts.
