Radar system, regarded as the key of modern warfare, played an more crucial roll than ever, which leads to the urgent reqirement of a testing equipment which can acquire radar echo signal and a dynamic working process in the outfield experients when the radar is still under development and verification.The equipment is provided as an effective tool and technique for studies on radar echo signal characteristics and newprocessing algorithms.According to the requirement specification of the Research Institute, an implementation solution for radar IF signal base-band modulating and acuisitiing system is proposed under the constraints of developing periods,cost and the accumulations of technology. Based on FPGA, the core component in the implementation scheme, DDC module, IDE interface module and USB logical controlling module are implemented in this system. The logic control design and algorithm implementation based on FPGA is the target in this paper.Application background and the main task firstly are introduced, according to which,whole design scheme of system is proposed. In modulation module, digital down converter base on software radio, design specification and implementation is specified. In storage record module, the hard disk and IDE interface are analyzed, based on whose characteristics, a designation of a Dual Purpose with-without PC is proposed. Finally the designation of software interface is described, including system controlling and waveform display. Based on software interface, the key of system debugging and the debugging results are given. The experiment shows that this algorithm has a good performance, which can satisfy the practical need.
