With the development of wireless communication technology, various new businesses have emerged one after another of these operations in bandwidth, latency requirements. IEEE 802.16 (WiMAX) broadband wireless access technology as a competitive next-generation wireless network technology has been to provide a wide range of business QoS (Quality of Service) support for the issue put on the agenda.QoS is defined for the requirements of real-time quantitative description of network transmission. QoS is designed to provide users with end-to-end quality of service guarantee in the event of network congestion, when vital business information security, and ensure efficient use of network resources. QoS uses such set of indicators as throughput, delay, and delay jitter and packet loss rate to measure the metric parameters.This article first described the concept of WiMAX QoS, support for QoS in MAC layer and physical layer, and QoS parameters. There are two network frameworks in the WiMAX network: PMP and Mesh compared the differences of QoS between them. The study is focused on the PMP Network QoS scheduling algorithm, analyzed two different kinds of QoS scheduling algorithm, QoS scheduling algorithm based on layers and the QoS-based prediction of traffic scheduling algorithm. At the same time, also o QoS scheduling in the WiMAX Mesh network is studied; three different QoS scheduling algorithms are studied and compared.In this paper, for the IEEE 802.16 network, a dynamic, adaptive, prediction based bandwidth Reservation is mentioned. Subsequently, bring up a dropping rate based algorithm to adjust the existing reserve bandwidth resources. Based on QoS, a bandwidth reservation scheduling algorithm in order to adjust the bandwidth dynamically, in the situation that the high-priority connect has higher bandwidth resource requests, and can not be satisfied by reducing bandwidth of low-priority connect, users can request for the reserved bandwidth resources, at the same time adjust the reserved bandwidth resources dynamically. This algorithm made a large extent on the QoS bandwidth scheduling. And with a simulation of the algorithm, it is proved the advantage in the QoS scheduling.
