In recent years,many products need to be lighten because of the importance of saving energy and reducing consumption, such as transport vehicle and construction areas. So the need of aluminium alloy increases quickly. Meanwhile, the quest to the aluminium alloy processing quality and the processing efficiency is becoming higher and higher. In order to change the traditional way of manual drilling aluminium alloy hole in FALM carriage, reduce the production cost, increase the processing precision and the enhancement production efficiency side, and realize automation production. The thesis adopts mechanical-electrical integration and integrated automation technique, design a numerical control product Line of FALM carriage.Firstly, the paper introduces the technological process of carriage product Line and the demanding of craft control. According to actual situation, the system realizes the best control effect with fuzzy PID control.Secondly, we choose the scheme and design the overall structure of control system of FALM carriage product Line. The project adopts PROFIBUS and SIMATIC PLC control system, which belongs to Siemens, the international famous supplier of automation products. They supply a series of software and hardware and system resolvent. It has shortened the research cycle,enlarged the ability of communication among field units, and enhanced the system compatibility.Then, the paper analyses the equipment control layer and monitor layer of FALM carriage product Line. The PLC we choose is SIMATIC CPU315T-2DP, which has integrated the function of logic control and motion control, completed the logic control, I/O logic operation, motion control, fault diagnosis and communications of PLC input/output point. Besides, we choose module IM174 which is used in the task of motion control technology. It is connected with T-CPU by way of isochronous mode. Five Panasonic MINAS A4 servo drivers and motor are controlled by Module IM174. They carry out the position control and exercise control of the axles. This solution realizes the function of motion controlling, reduces the cost and simplifies programming and debugging. We complete the equipment control layer and monitor layer of carriage product Line by advanced PLC programming tool STEP7 V5.4, S7-Technology V3.0 and WinCC configuration software. This solution meets the demand of technology control fully.Finally, the paper makes a summing-up and prospects of PROFIBUS-DP+SIMATIC PLC. As a solution of control system of carriage product Line, PROFIBUS-DP+SIMATIC PLC that has good openness, extendibility and high-performance, which will have a good future in the automatic control system.
