The growth of the digital multimedia technology and the successful development of the Internet allow people to process, deliver and store information more easily. To protect the copyright ownership and information security, there has a new concept—Digital watermarking, it is different traditional information hide technology.It is a new information hide technology is an effective method for copyright protection.This paper proposes a video watermarking based on the Watson visual model, which is introduced to control the watermark embedding strength. Assisted by the Watson visual model, it is convenient for balancing the relationship between watermark robustness and visual transparency. The scheme makes use of the characteristics of luminance and contrast on HVS to optimize the embedding position and intensity of watermark, which make the watermark signal be embedded in the proper position by the proper intensity, so that the watermark can keep better imperceptibility, and at the same time, the robustness of the watermark is improved.
