The tourism information consumption develop rapidly and play an important role in economic, people’s life and political.First of all, the article summaries the concept and the content of the tourism information consumption based on some basic theory. And the article studies the process from the rise to the development and the effect such as promoting economic growth, improving the image of the destination and facilitating civic life. Through the critical incident method, the article illustrate that at present tycoons compete by low price and the market is in the dilemma of development. Many adverse events occur frequently, like the information leakage. The tourism information consumption do not reach the one-stop service. The tourism information consumption is facing both the risks and the opportunities. The article analysis of the incident and gives out the questionnaire survey to consumers. It finds that the consumers of tourism information are lack of legal consciousness, the enterprises are lack of innovation consciousness and the government‘s regulation is not in place.
