With the further popularization of the wireless Internet and the smartphone soaking in the world, the application store in China has limited fresh ground for development. From operators, hardware manufacturers, hardware agency channels, software providers and Internet giants, in all aspects of the industry have been involved. From thousands of stores during the peak of development, up to present when there are still nearly 200 stores in existence, the whole area has been undergoing rapid demise in some cases, and consolidation in others.In this paper, using the definition of business model concept as starting point, with the success of the business model law for theoretical analysis basis, the paper will summarize the Appstore origin and the explicate its development status in China. Using SamsungApps as an example, introduction the creation background and analysis the current operating status. Comparing with other appstores, SamsungApps has several problems corresponding exists in three elements of business model. For instance, it didn’t fit the demands of customers, the enterprise marketing strategy has failed to effectively integrate, and end users are losing and have low profitability. According to the laws of the five steps of successful business, from the perspective of the product, put forward four improvement measures to SamsungApps. Some of them could improve and the implementation in short term, there are also effective in the future. It has certain reference significance for perfecting the business model. The full analysis, from the perspective of the different roles in the industrial chain, is to establish a more perfect ecosystem, for the development of the app store at the present stage in China, and other related enterprises have to draw lessons from meaning.
