A Study On The Income Distribution Gap Of Chinese Residents Since The Reform And Opening - Up

Since China’s reform and opening up along with rapid economic development of our country, people’s life has got great improvement and per capita income has been significantly improved as well. But there are a lot of problems accompanied such as the gap between rich and poor and the phenomenon of unfair distribution. They highlight the increase of the wage gap between industry, the gap between rural and urbanareas and the gap between regions. There are many causes of the gap such as government corruption, social security and public service inequality that lead to the widening gap between income distributions in our country. Income distribution is closely related to people’s life and it is not only related to the vital interests of the residents but also related to country’s economy healthy development. To study the resident’s income distribution in our country has important theoretical significance and practical significance in solving the income gap, building a socialist harmonious society and realizing common prosperity. The Socialism distribution theory of the classical writer Marxist provides the theory foundation for solving the problem of residents’ income gap in China.To narrow the gap in income distribution and improve the present situation of unfair distribution in our country, some measures here are involved such as reforming the administrative system and the fiscal and taxation systems; establish social security system and public service system that beneficial to all people; distribution system reform of our country monopoly industries; to optimize the economic development strategy further and narrow the income gap. This research is expected to help solve the problem of income distribution gap between residents in our country, promote the harmonious development of society and boost the healthy development of our country’s economy.
