Analysis On Technical Transformation Of Traditional Garment Manufacturing Industry

Affected by the complex global economy, the consumption levels have became weeker; The rising labor costs leading to the phenomenon of "labor shortage", especially to " skilled labor shortage", what is gradually spread; Developed countries occupied the high value-added sectors of global value chain and continue to squeeze the profit margins of the clothing manufacturing industry. The third world countries are competed in the low value-added aspects. But in the meantime, with the rapid development of the domestic garment industry, the market share of the domestic brands continue to expand, China’s apparel brands also hope to increase manufacturing capacity to enhance international competitiveness. Therefore, the traditional garment industry needs to transition. This paper focuses on insolving the problem of technical Transformation with the starting point of efficiency improved, technical upgraded whose main solution is the application and popularization of digital technology.The first chapter of this study is clarifying the purpose, significance and research ideas and methods; The second chapter analyzes the overall environment of China’s garment industry mainly from the internal and external environment; the third part aims at researching the development trend of the Chinese garment industry’s Production capacity from the view of increasing market demand. The fourth chapter proposes a Key Concept,"Quality assurance capacity",based on the third chapter’s Results of the analysis,and thus establishing a model of garment manufacturing business capacity evaluation;As a core part, The fifth chapter proposes the key of technology transformation——automation equipment according to the weight of related indicators in the model,and introduces its current level, the advantages and the degree of application.Eventually,this paper offers a transformation approach which is based on the application of the intelligent devices that made by the digital and information technology in the apparel manufacturing industry to improve efficiency, quality assurance, production change this transformation approach.The results can be used as a referance to the equipment manufacturers to develop innovative reference, and constantly improve the level of equipment and technology, to better serve the clothing manufacturing industry to achieve coordinated development of healthy industrial chain.The Conclusion of this study is expected to be a practical way of Chinese garment industry transformation and provide a theoretical basis for the research of relevant companies’transformation.
