"Land to the tiller, Home Ownership" is every people’s demands, and the basic condition of housing is the most basic necessities of life. However, as commodity prices’ rising, for some people, especially low-income people and poor people, it is a luxuy for them to own a house. Thus, according to the central spirit, each region must finish construction of affordable housing projects. All the officers must strengthen social management and innovation. What’s more important is that we need form a housing security system, combine market configuration with government housing guarantee system.Thence we can strengthen the protection of housing management, to meet the basic needs of needy families, to maintain social stability.To ensure the efficient conduct towns of affordable housing projects, executors must introduce follow-up audit. The audit will track the entire process, involved the whole project and every project. Follow-up audit can identify problems, propose constructive recommendations, and improve efficiency. This paper analyzes the follow-up audit of affordable housing projects from the following part:First part: introductions. This part introduces the research background, significance, literature review, research methods and the innovation and deficiencies.Second part:. the theories about follow-up audit and affordable housing projects. Based on public accountability theory, social security theory, equitable distribution theory, housing filtration theory, this part introduces the concept of affordable housing projects, follow-up audit, as well as the functions,features and feasibility of them.Third part: the implementation procedures of follow-up audit about affordable housing projects. This part contains principles, key content and basic method comprises.Fourth part: case analysis. This part describes the province’s construction program, funding and follow-up management situation. It illustrates the specific work content form three stages. According to these analysis, it summaries the benefits and the problems of follow-up audit about this province.Fifth part: This part makes reasonable recommendations on the basis of problems. These recommendations maybe play a important role in the development of follow-up audit about affordable housing projects.
