An Analysis Of The Contribution Of Informatization To Economic Growth In Yunnan Province

In 2013, the Hannover Industrial Fair in Germany, "Industry 4.0" concept was first presented, indicating that the world will enter a new wave of industrial revolution in the near future. At this moment, the global is accelerating the transition from the industrial society to the information society, Informatization has become a measure of a country’s economic development and an important indicator of overall strength. The world is making great efforts to enhance their level of information, hoping to occupy the leading position in the development of this trend in both opportunities and challenges. The present economic development in China is facing the huge challenge,both the change about the pattern of economic development and adjustment of industrial structure. So, by studying the contribution of Informatization on national macro economic growth, and using Informatization to promote the development of economy and social development. At the same time as China’s western region of Yunnan,both the level of Informatization and the development of the national economy are in backward areas in China. So studying the contribution of Informatization on Economic Growth from Yunnan could have more reference and practical meaning.Firstly, the article would describe the connotation of Informatization and Informatization assessment mechanisms, meanwhile, summarize the theory of Informatization affecting the national economy;Secondly, according to the State Council Informatization Leading Group in 1997, "National Informatization Working Conference" proposed national informatization system framework and the development of Yunnan province itself, the author would try to set up a system to assess the level of informatization, calculating the level of informatization Yunnan Province in the past 14 years(2001-2014), and over viewing the economic development of Yunnan Province in the period;In terms of empirical analysis, the author attempt to discover contribution about Informatization on Economic Growth by using the theory of economic growth and industrial structure via the relevant data from 16 states(cities) of Yunnan. Firstly, taking economic growth theory as a starting point, the paper plans to apply the modified Cobb-Douglas function in quantitative analysis of the contribution of information to economic growth; Secondly, starting from the industrial structure, the paper mainly tends to estimate driving and driving factor of Information Industry to the traditional first, second and third industries to spur economic development and lead coefficient to measure the degree of their contribution to economic growth,and concluded that informatization has become the emerging power of economic growth in Yunnan province; Then, the author tends to analyse the existing problems and shortcomings in the process of development of informatization in Yunnan from the total amount, structure, internal and other terms;Finally, learning from the experience of developed regions at home and abroad, combining the status of their own development in Yunnan,the author come up with strategies to strengthen informatization construction and promote development of economy and society in Yunnan Province.
