Industrial Chain Integration, M & A Objective Selection And Enterprise Growth Research

The research of enterprise growth is a hot topic in the academic field at present. But considering all points of view, most scholars advocate that the enterprise growth is due to continuously integrating the internal resources and ability. However, the reality and the existing theory is different, most of the enterprises, especially the rapid growth of the Internet business, are derived from the integration of resources and cooperation between enterprises. So in this study we chose a Internet company as a case to probe the reason of the rapid growth through analyzing the strategies and the M&A target selection of each stage, and interpreting the path of enterprise growth in the perspective of the integration of industrial chain. We found that the strategy of Industry chain integration is a process of establishing a operation flow form a line to a net. M&A is an effective way to accelerate the growth of enterprises. It’s particularly important to make appropriate strategic objectives and M&A target selection in the strategic implementation. The target should be selected under the guidance of strategic objectives, and choose the industry segments with core advantages and the potential to connecting with the enterprise’s own business, innovating and upgrading together.
