Research On Hospital Service Optimization Based On Queuing Theory

China’s current hospital services in the presence of the "medical treatment is difficult" problem, people in the hospital to see a doctor always spend most of the time is waiting for the service. In order to improve the problems of the existing in the hospital service, we use queuing theory to analyze this queuing phenomenon which exists in the hospital, makes us hospitals can improve the queuing system setting. Therefore, we first in accordance with the characteristics of the hospital, hospital queuing system settings for the customer for an unlimited source of multi queue queuing model and a single queue queuing model, after analysis and comparison we found that Queuing service model of single cohort compared to the multi servers and queues service model has higher system performance, because the patient’s average waiting time is shorter.Secondly, based on the currently prevailing two reservation queuing method in the hospital, and single queue due to the advantages of multi queue model, the establishment of two single queue reservation queuing model:common priority reservation queuing model and specific time priority reservation queuing model. And the significant system performance of the two models are obtained, namely the weighted average stay time of the patients. Will the two priority queuing model of weighted mean sojourn time and no priority weighted mean sojourn time, draw a priority queuing model can improve the queuing model of the system performance and patient’s weighted average waiting time will be reduced. By comparing the weighted average time of stay in the two different priority queuing model, the weighted time of the queuing model with a specified time priority is shorter, and the system model is better. Priority Queueing system model is superior and specific time priority reservation queuing model of the optimal system performance, then we think of the two priority queuing model to analyze and optimize, get the different system of optimal reservation rate.Finally, we use the result of Kunhua hospital the queuing system of data analysis, it is concluded that the hospital with different reservation queuing model, the optimal reservation ratior to improve the hospital queuing service system.
