A Study On The Strategy Of Aircraft Flight Delay

The development of economical globalization promotes the rapid progress of the aviation industry. Nowadays, people’s travel activities have been closely linked with the aviation industry, which is a common concern to the community and people from all walks of life. Due to the rapid economic development and acceleration of economic globalization, the circulation of the economy and talents around the world and the increasing tourists make the rapid development of China’s aviation industry.Aviation cannot be replaced by other means of transportation for the reason that it possesses the characteristics of long-distance flight and high efficiency, therefore it accounts for an increasingly large portion of the traffic system. In recent two years, China’s aviation industry economy advances by leaps and bounds, each essential factor, scale and market demand is developing at a high speed. Due to the rapid development of aviation industry and increasing number of tourists, there appears flight delays during the process of A airline’s development, which seriously affects the development of A airline, the economic efficiency and the declining social morality.According to the statistics in recent years, China’s aviation industry is soaring, especially the civil aviation industry. After the study of A airlines’ data, it is obvious that the larger the number of flights, the more the flight delays, which indicates the direct proportional relationship between them.The expansion of people’s increasing demands promotes the development of aviation industry, but meanwhile, causes a lot of trouble, such as when flights are delayed, passengers will have to change their travel plans, which causes a corresponding loss to the passenger and resources loss of flight delays.The most important is that these factors seriously affect the development of China’s civil aviation industry. As our research object, the flight delays of A aviation will affect the service quality and reputation of A airline. When air delays happen, the airline should make its recovery plan by making information more transparent and order maintenance to ensure the safety of the airport.The alteration of the aviation management mechanism needs the government’s support and take measures to change the current situation of flight delays. The management should be strengthened and remedial measures should be taken to enhance the punctuality of A airline to the top, stepping into a higher level of scientific aviation industry.This paper is divided into five main parts. The first part is the introduction of the background, meaning, review, content, method and theory of the research. The starting point of A Airlines’ study is the management theories. Then, the flight delays of A airline is analyzed and summarized with a reasonable explanation of flight delays and good solutions. Through continuous improvement and absorbing experience, this thesis will put forward the strategic measures and eventually, to some extent, improve the entire China’s civil aviation industry.
