A Study On The Driving Factors Of China 's Direct Investment In The United States

Recently, foreign direct investment from China to the U.S. develops rapidly, and meanwhile Industry distribution changes dramatically. Past research on the investment between these two economies have much more fruits, even about some Individual driving factors.With the classical theory, this paper do traceability research on the rapid development of China’s direct investment for the United States these years. Absolutely, this article research also has certain limitation in that China’s direct investment to the United States is in the stage of rapid development and many sectors of the direct investment do not have complete life cycle. In view of the limitation of research purpose and objective, this paper makes some efforts in periodic analysis.Firstly, this paper makes some tests to the latest available data on the background of theory of foreign direct investment for developing countries. Then, from the driving factors of the relatively mature classical theory, this paper does some correlation analysis in six major industries.Some research get a conclusion that different industries have different driving factors and this is helpful to find new path.
