Zhangwentian is not only an important leader of Chinese Communist Party for a long time but also an eminent proletarian revolutionist and Marxism theorist. He dedicated his whole life to the great communist cause. He persisted in considering independently even in adversity and made studies about socialist economic issues with great concentration. In the search of truth , he spoke out from a sense of justice and put forward a lot of correct and profound views , some of which are still guiding rules today.In this dissertation there is a discussion about the background and causation of Zhangwentian's socialist economic building ideology. This dissertation elucidates Zhangwentian's thoughts that socialist building must concentrate on economic construction and some rules put forward by him which socialist economic building must observe, especially the rule of "distribution according to work". The author tries to illustrate by facts in this dissertation how predictive , pragmatic and sagacious Zhangwentian's economic ideology is .The author compares the socialist economic building ideologies which belong to Maozedong,Zhangwentian and Dengxiaoping respectively and highly affirms the historic significance and practical significance of Zhangwentian's socialist economic building ideology. The author thinks that not only did Zhangwentian persist in Maozedong's right thoughts of his late years and corrected Mao's improper viewpoints, but also he provided Dengxiaoping Theory with abundant ideological sources. His noble character of seeking and adhering to the truth in spite of any setbacks deserves our reverence and emulate.
