Family Enterprise Systems Change Research

Family business has gradually drawn our attention in recent years, which results from its continual development and its proportion and status' constant improvement in national economy.According to the study status quo at home and abroad, this thesis firstly defines family business and its essence. Family business not only belongs to economic category, but also belongs to historical, cultural and social categories. From the viewpoint of traditional culture as well as current background of economic development since reform and opening up, this thesis discusses the reason why family business came into being in our country, which may have something to do with our national social ethic as well as traditional culture and which may be the certain institutional frame under the background of economic restructuring. Referring to the normal changing pattern of family business institutions, the thesis regards family business as a dynamic developing process and analyses its concrete characteristics during its development in our country.Basing on the positive analysis of the developing status quo of our national family business, this thesis holds the idea that there exist both derivational factors and restricting factors in the change of family business institutions, and the change of family business institutions is the outcome of inter-action of the internal contradiction. Referring to comparative analysis of the experience of the change of overseas family business institutions, this thesis finally discusses the path of change of our national family business institutions. We should, according to the concrete situation and characteristics of the development of various family businesses, adjust and change structure of ownership, structure of governance, construction of culture, external market etc.
