Taiwan Merchant (H.K.) Co., Ltd is specialized in the export of arts &crafts products. This industry is in the maturity period, and the competitionamong the enterprises is very hard. At the same time, Taiwan Merchant is alsofacing the competitions coming from many ways. By using SWOT, thisarticle also summarizes the strengths and weaknesses of this company.The concept of product has many meanings and it can refer to all thethings that people can measure with value. When the company sets up theprices for these products, it needs to consider many other factors, except theproducts and the structure of the value. There are several models that can beused for price setting. The company can also use many strategies to deal withthe price competition.To make a successful negotiation, the bargaining is essential. In practice,there are two tactics that are usually used in bargaining. Meanwhile, thecompany should strengthen its core competence and therefore improve itsbargaining power in the negotiation. In order to achieve this goal, thecompany needs to take a series of actions which require the cooperationamong all the departments within the organization. Only by this way, can thisproblem be solved radically.
