It Audit In The Construction Of Information Systems Research

The Informatization construction is on its highway right now in China. However, during the construction, there are many problems emerging: the quality could not satisfy as is demanded; actural investments exceed far more than the budget constraint; and the construction could not finished as planned, to solve all this problems and let the information system satisfy the user's demand, we should introduce the IT audit process which has been develped for more than 30 years abroad, make integrated inspect and accessment to the development and implementation process of the system and make suggesstion for modification.IT audit roots from information management system, computer science, general audit theory, behavior science and etc, which covers many fieldes and is a multi-disciplinary science, because informatization begun late in China, IT audit was not introduced in China until the beginning of the 21 st century, then there have been experts and scholars who do research on it but the publications are all in theory.Based on the present theory, my thesis can be devided into four parts, the first is analysis on the theory foundation of IT audit, after defining its ownership of discipline and pratical value, we could conclude that IT audit is cored in management, supported by technique and guaranted with lay, and is a discipline more on management, and then I give the international general referrence standard COBIT. then the second part, after I define the audit object in IT audit, we can get that the emergence of the information system induces changes in audit data and internal control, and then I subdivide IT audit into three parts: audit on information system itself, audit of circumstance of information system and internal control and audit on data and information in the system, according to my subdivision and its seperate technique, I set up the basic model, in the third part, I give the complete operation process on IT audit and demonstrate it via graph, and the process are divided into four parts: audit on IS plan, development, function and maintance.
