| With China's accession into the World Trade Organization (WTO), the economic globalization and the increasingly intense market competition, the trend of concentration on company's core competence brings upon an important issue: How to develop core competence of Chinese logistics enterprise. To Chinese logistics enterprise, they face the opportunity and challenging simultaneously. To compete and survive in the ever changing global market, Chinese logistics enterprises mush building and develop their own core competences.This paper starts from the study of current developing stage and tendency of logistics business in both developed countries and China. Next states the concept of logistics enterprises. Then on the basis of analyzing the successful experience of COSCO Logistics, points out the importance to build and raise core competences of the present Chinese logistics enterprises.
